The main field of activity for Hidroconstrucția S.A. is the performance of hydropower construction works both above and under ground.
The football team of the company has been playing in the Bucharest championship "Liga Companiilor" (6-a-side teams, artificial grass, 42 m x 21 m pitch, 4 m x 2 m goals, 2 x 20 minute games) since 2009.
Among the most notable achievements of Hidroconstrucția are the two second places at "Cupa Constructorilor" in 2013 and 2014.
The team has won the last three play-offs to keep its place in the first division of Liga Companiilor and will now make its debut on the international stage at EFBLU European Cup 3 in Plovdiv.
Hidroconstrucția's best game of the 2018/19 season in Liga Companiilor was the convincing 5-0 win over Mega Image who finished 8th in the final league standings:
