Plovdiv to host EFBLU European Cup 3

| We have the pleasure to announce that EFBLU European Cup 3 will take pace on 14th and 15th September 2019 in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv - the European Capital of Culture 2019! The tournament will be organized by our Bulgarian partners Football Corporate League in the new Atrim Arena (address: Iztochna promishlena zona, bul. Tsarigradsko shose 53, Plovdiv). "Football Corporate League is one of the EFBLU founding members and I am very happy that they will host the third edition of EFBLU European Cup. Having a rich historical and cultural heritage, their city Plovdiv has been chosen to be the European Capital of Culture 2019. I am sure the participating teams will enjoy it a lot," EFBLU President Dr Pawel Dimow said. EFBLU European Cup 3 will be for 6-a-side teams (5+1) which will compete on 2 pitches with artificial grass. The sizes of the pitches and goals are 44m x 23m and 5m x 2m respectively. Each game will be officiated by one main referee who will be supported by an assistant on the sidelines. The participation fee for the tournament will be 400 EUR per team. It will be divided into two parts with 300 EUR dedicated to covering the tournament's organizational costs and 100 EUR allocated to cover the EFBLU's operational expenses. The tournament organizers will provide the following: - 2 football pitches with artificial grass - cups and medals - balls - video and photo coverage - small catering - water - referees - technical staff - medical person - speaker Participating teams will have to cover their transport and accommodation costs. Local organizers can help by recommending suitable hotels. All interested parties should submit their applications and complete the payment of the participation fee till 16th August 2019. Please, respect the deadline and confirm your participation earlier. Together with the application, teams should send their squad list with an official confirmation from the HR department of their company that all listed players are employees of the company. Each team, however, can register 1 player who is not an employee of the company. In case the non-employee is/was a professional football/futsal player, he should be at least 35-years-old. Please, also attach a team photo in high resolution and a short description of the history and achievements of your team.
