EFBLU European Cup 3: Hanon Systems (Plovdiv, Bulgaria)

The football team of Hanon Systems Plovdiv (ex. Magna Powertrain Plovdiv) was created in 2013, when they received an invitation to participate in the debut season of the Football Corporate League in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv.

In their first two seasons (2013/2014 and 2014/2015), Hanon finished in 4th and 3rd place in Plovdiv's business league after dramatic games at the end of both seasons.

The third season (2015/2016) was their best as they were strengthened by some very good players who joined the company and helped the team win the league without a defeat in 30 games.

In the fourth season (2016/2017), Hanon defended their league title after a great closing game of the season. Hanon were 1 point behind leagues leaders SBTech with only one game left – between Magna and SBTech. Hanon won that game by 2-1 and won the league for a second time in a row.

As 2016/17 champions of Plovdiv's Football Corporate League, Hanon participated in EFBLU European Cup 1 and finished the international tournament in Kraków on 6th position.

In 2018 they also played in EFBLU European Cup 2 in Kranjska Gora, Slovenia, where they finished in 8th place.

Hanon ended the 2017/18 and 2018/2019 domestic league season on third place behind the two times champions Andip-92.

Hanon also participates in the Edenred Cup business tournament in Sofia, which features 16 teams every year. They won that cup four times in between 2015 and 2019.
