EFBLU European Cup 5 returns to Slovenia

| It is a pleasure to be back in Slovenia with the fifth edition of our European championship! Our Slovenian partner Poslovna nogometna liga will organize EFBLU European Cup 5 in Slovenia's National Football Centre in Brdo pri Kranju on 16th-17th September 2023. The tournament will be for 6-a-side teams (5+1) which will play outdoor on natural grass. The size of the pitches and the goals is 43 m x 25 m and 5 m x 2 m, respectively. "We fell in love with the beautiful Slovenia when we visited this wonderful country 5 years ago. Then we played in the famous alpine resort of Kranjska Gora and now we are going to Brdo pri Kranju where we will have the opportunity to experience the great conditions offered by the modern National Football Centre," EFBLU President Dr Pawel Dimow commented. Slovenia's National Football Centre was officially opened in May 2016 and you can find more information about it in the below video: The foreign teams, which will participate in EFBLU European Cup 5, will be accommodated in the exceptional 4-star Elegans Hotel Brdo, situated 1 km from the National Football Centre: Poslovna nogometna liga has previously organized EFBLU European Cup 2 in the Slovenian alpine resort of Kranjska Gora. The tournament took place on 15th-16th September 2018 and featured 12 teams from 6 European countries - Slovenia, Georgia, Portugal, Bulgaria, Romania and Poland. It was won by the Georgian team of Patrol Police who defeated Portuguese rivals Empark by 1-0 in the final. Now we are looking forward to seeing you in Brdo pri Kranju! |      |
