The players of Klaipeda City are employees of UAB Vlakosta - a Klaipeda based company which performs complete or partial electrical installations on vessels and onshore installations throughout Scandinavian countries, Western Europe and Lithuania.
We are a team of friends that got together in 2008. Since then, our team is striving to play football wherever it is practically possible. We participate in all championships in Klaipeda and in Klaipeda region, too. At winter season we play football indoors (futsal) and at summer time – outside, 8x8 tournament. The team also has experience playing football in LFF’s 3rd division as well as in Aleksandro Fokino Cup.
FC Klaipeda City represents Klaipeda region in different international tournaments, both in Lithuania and abroad (Visaginas Cup, Strong Cup Riga, EFBLU European corporate football tournament, Hummel championship in Lithuanian Amateur Football League and others).
FC Klaipeda City is a really big community, that consists of two football teams (approximately 40 players) in addition to a huge fan and friend base (there are currently 390 members on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/230787400636/).
Although we are only an amateur level football team, we do have our own vision, values, and priorities. We value honesty and perseverance the most. By our own example, we try to prove, that anything can be achieved and that you can bypass any competitor if you spare no energy and set a proper goal for yourself. We never give up and always deliver professional performance not only inside the football pitch but outside of it as well.
